Trip To Korea!!

I haven't seen you for a long time!! It has been a year since I wrote my blog.

I traveled in Korea for 4 days in this month. I went with my friends and they join to tennis club with me. We get along very well :)

In the first day, we went to a duty-free shop. They are very cheap!! So, I bought facial packs. Then, we ate Korean-style barbecued beef. It was delicious. In the night, we went shopping in a big shopping mall. It has many shops. shop assistants work hard at their business, so they spoke to me and were about to make me buy goods. I had no intention of buying them, but against my better judgement, I bought a skirt.

In the second day, we visited tourist spots, famous bridge palace, a museum and Korean houses, with Korean tour conductor and other tourists. The palace is a world heritage, so it is very large and we was tired..... But the decoration is beautiful!!! In the night, we ate Bibinnba baked in hot pebbles.

In the third days, we went to an observation deck and could see far and wide!!! Moreover, a guidebook said we could see a border between Korea and North Korea. So, we were looking forward to it, but we couldn't... At the night, we went to a beauty-treatment clinic!! the course was asteam bath, washing off the dirt, a facial pack and a massage from hand to toe. It was painful fow us, but we were very beautiful :)

In the last day, we went shopping in an airport. And we returned to Japan.

All the trip was happened in an instant, but very exciting!!! We could eat many delicious Korean foods, buy clothes and cosmetics cheaply. Prices in Korea are very low. So, you should go to Korea and go shopping!! I heven't had enough of Korea. I'm going to go to Korea some day!!!!

After two years, I'm also going to travel to Los Angeles with the same members. For it, we must save money!! :) I'm looking forward to the travel!!!

Hello,everyone!!
I haven’t seen you for a long time. I have some reasons. I started living by myself near my university. And I bought a laptop computer. It hadn’t connected with Internet. But today it did. So I can write my blog!! I am very happy!! :-)

Since I came back to Japan, on weekdays I play tennis because there is a competition in tennis circles of my university every year. I lost my game last Wednesday. So I cheered my teammates. I was very chagrined, but cheering was so exciting!!!
Next week I will stick it out!!!

In Japan

Yesterday I arrived in Japan. This trip was my treasure of my life and was too fast for me. I enjoyed making new friends, visiting various places, eating the kind of foods and playing sports very much in two weeks. So I didn’t want to go back to Japan… Now I miss you!!

I want to develop many pictures. In my mind I have wonderful memories. I am glad to have met Mike, Joe, Nikki, Nina and Heather!!!

I want to go back to Maryland soon. If I go there, let’s meet and keep in touch with me!!!

Who is the bottom??

Yesterday I visited Hornbake Library. We looked at many old books. And the staff said that these books were protected. After that, I played bowling with Misa, Ayumi, Masahiro and Nobuya!! We decided that the one with the lowest score would treat the winner. Nobuya, Masahiro and I were in a close race. As a result, Misa was the winner!! So, Nobuya, who was the person of the bottom, treated her to a drink. Nobuya was very depressed… But we enjoyed the game very much!!! At the last, we took a picture with bowling balls.

Tomorrow is a day we go back to Japan. I want to stay here more... I like Nina, Heather and mentors!!! I want to meet you again!!!

White House!!!

At lunch, I went to Potbelly. I like the sandwiches and shakes of there very much. It was comfortable for me to eat on the grass!!! After the lunch, we visited the Capitol Building. There are the Supreme Court, many sculptures, the small subway and so on. Especially, ornaments of ceilings are so wonderful!! I took many pictures there. Afterward, we saw the White House. I couldn’t see it nearby because there is a fence. So, it has a long long distance between it and us. But I was very excited!!! I wanted to meet Bush!!!:-)

In Nikki's House!!

Yesterday, I visited the Voice of America. It was exciting for us to watch various broadcasting. I want to go there again and know about them. Then, I had a lunch with Mike and Friends. We talked about our families, the blood types and love’s talks. I enjoyed it very much. Afterward we went to Nikki’s house. Her house is big. It has a billiards board, the Wii, hammocks a cute cat and so on. It was enjoyable for me. I played basketball, badminton and Frisbee. Misa was very good at Frisbee. But I couldn’t do it at all. And I became enthusiastic about tennis (Wii game). Senpai and Mike were very good!!! I lost to them. So I was sorry!!!!! If we do it again, I want to win against them. And the dinner was so delicious!!! I ate until I was full!!! Let’s go there together again!!!!!!!!

Exciting Days!!!!!

Thursday afternoon, we visited the IDB. Three Japanese employees talked about what they do there, their career and their hardship in the USA. The experience was useful for my future.

Friday, in Baltimore we took the water taxi. A little boy who rode behind me was very cute!! And when we got off, I took a picture with the captain of the taxi. He was very kind. Then, I went shopping with friends, and bought a T-shirt and a stuffed toy. Afterward, we watched a live baseball game for the first time. It was very exciting for us. We stood up and gave a shout of joy when the Orioles got a point!!! And after the game, we saw a fireworks show. It was so wonderful and beautiful!!! I am already an Orioles fan of them!!!

Saturday, I went to the National Gallery of Art. The building was so big and they have pictures and statues by various artists. It was very special for me because I was very familiar with some of the paintings by Van Gogh that I saw there. After we went back to our hotel, I played volleyball with Nikki, Mike and some friends. My muscles were sore because I hadn’t exercised in a long time!! But we enjoyed very much!!!

Sunday, we visited the National Museum of Natural History. I saw jewelry, the animal’s bones and the dinosaurs. It was very interesting!!! Afterward I saw the Lincoln memorial. It was big and exciting for me. Many people visited there. And then we played basketball with Nikki, Mike and some friends. I played it by bare feet because it was difficult to play by beach sandals!!! Today I am looking forward to playing it again!!!!!

In Newseum

Hi!! Yesterday we visited the Newseum. I saw the history of printing and media, the event of the World Trade Center and so on. Especially, in the corner of the event of the World Trade Center I saw a real portion of the building, some pictures and movies. It was very shocking for me. Also, I think that it was an important event that we must never forget forever. Afterward, I had dinner with Joe and 6 friends at a Chinese restaurant. Some people and I ate fried rice. It was too much but delicious!! However, a chow noodle which Joe ate was the best delicious meal. When we finished our meals, we got written fortunes. My written fortune means that I have to talk after I think words I want to say. That is true for me because I often talk without thinking them. Sometimes I am said so from my friends... After we went back to our hotel, I played billiards with Mike and 10 friends. It was a first experience for me. So, I was very excited!!! Kyoko is very good at it!!! She has a technique which she thought out!!! Let’s play it together again!!^_^

This my 7th day was very early for me. I thought that this program was passed early, but it is already a half!!!!! I want to enjoy my last 7th day.

Shopping!!!

Hi!! Yesterday I ate sandwiches and ice cream. The ice cream I divided with Sanae was very big and delicious!!! It has three ice cream, banana, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. We said that we couldn’t eat any more. But finally we could eat completely!! And then we went shopping in fashion center. I bought a T-shirt. It was so cute!! And I make friends with Junior and Koran. They are friends of Joe. I enjoyed shopping with them!!!

Communication with the American students!!

Two friends and I talked with American students. We spoke English, while they spoke English and a little Japanese. It was very exciting!! But they couldn’t understand words I said. So, they said me again and again, “what!?” I was very shocked… Also, I couldn’t do. Speaking English was difficult!!>_< We talked about our family, hobbies and educations… They showed us around the church, the library. When we went back to our hotel, we took a picture together. It was a nice experience!!! Then all AGU students and mentors went to the Kennedy Center. There was a big statue (bust) of Kennedy!! I listened to live jazz for the first time. So, it was very interesting and dynamic!! I was impressed. And I took a picture with a jazz singer and friends. She was cute!!^_^ Then we had dinner at the sushi restaurant. It was exciting to be able to eat Japanese foods in foreign country!!! It was so delicious. Miso soup and sashimi were also good taste!! So I want to go there again.

A Long Long Day!!!

Yesterday at first we went to Alexandria. The church we visited was very sacred. The organist played a wonderful sacred song!! I was impressed!!! Then I sat on a chair Washington did once. And I drank lemonade. It was very delicious!!! At lunch, I ate seafood spaghetti with 4 friends and Joe. I was full!!! I ate a strawberry ice cream, too. Next, we went to Georgetown by boat. It was so comfortable!! In Georgetown, I played a card with Nikki and 6 friends in a park. Then I had dinner at a Mexican restaurant. It was very spicy but delicious!!! Yesterday was a exciting day!!!!!!

Arrival in America

Hello!! My name is Sahori Yamaguchi. I am majoring in International Politics. I have been thinking that I want to learn American culture and politics since before.
